Casa Mila Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love everything you order from Casa Mila. If something isn’t quite right, we gladly accept returns on most items within 30 days of delivery.

Please refer to the category guide below to see if your item is eligible for return and what the qualifications are.

General Return Guidelines

All returns must be:
    •    In new, unused condition
    •    Free of washes, stains, damage, or signs of wear
    •    Returned in original packaging when possible
    •    Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect upon arrival.
Returns sent without prior contact may be denied.

As a small, family-run boutique, we’re currently unable to offer free return shipping on all orders. Each item is packed with care and intention, and we want you to be truly happy with your purchase. While return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, we’ll always try to make it right if something arrives damaged or incorrect. Please reach out within 3 days of delivery — we’re here to help with grace and gratitude. 

📩 How to Start a Return

Email us at info@shopcasamila.com within 30 days of delivery.
We’ll send return instructions and a return shipping address.

👗 Clothing
    •    Must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached
    •    Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery
    •    Holiday-themed clothing may only be returned or exchanged up until 5 days before the holiday.
After that, all seasonal apparel is final sale, unless damaged or defective on arrival
    •    Defects must be reported within 3 days with photos and your order number
    •    Exchanges or store credit offered for sizing changes during the return window

🎒 Bags & Accessories

Backpacks, purses, and totes:
    •    Returnable within 30 days if unused, with tags and packaging

Hair accessories (bows, clips, headbands):
    •    Final sale for hygiene reasons
    •    Only returnable if damaged and reported within 3 days

🏠 Home Decor & Goods

Return eligibility is product-specific.
Email us at info@shopcasamila.com before returning any home or decor item.
Items must be:
    •    In like-new condition
    •    Undamaged and unmarked
    •    Packaged securely for safe return shipping

🧸 Toys & Play Items
    •    Returnable within 30 days if unopened and in original packaging
    •    Large items (e.g. tents, dollhouses) are non-returnable once opened, unless defective
    •    Any damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery
    •    Restocking fees may apply to oversized returns

🎉 Party Supplies & Seasonal Goods
    •    Unopened, non-seasonal items: returnable within 30 days
    •    Holiday/seasonal items: final sale
    •    Opened party supplies: non-returnable

📖 Books
    •    Returnable within 30 days if in perfect, like-new condition
    •    No bent corners, torn pages, or writing
    •    Holiday books: may be returned up until 5 days before the holiday only

📝 Stationery (Notebooks, Notepads, Journals)
    •    Returnable within 30 days if unused and pristine
    •    Must be clean, unbent, unwritten in, and unmarred
    •    Used or handled stationery is non-returnable

🎁 Gift Wrap, Gift Bags & Cards

All gift wrap, tags, gift bags, and greeting cards — including religious-themed cards — are final sale.
Due to their delicate and seasonal nature, they are not eligible for return.

✝️ Religious & Devotional Items

We offer the most grace with our Catholic items and accept returns on most unused items within 30 days.

Returnable if:
    •    Unused, undamaged, and not blessed
    •    Reported within 3 days if defective, with photo and order number

Includes:
    •    Rosaries
    •    Holy water bottles (including glass)
    •    Crucifixes
    •    Devotional decor

🙏 Religious greeting cards and paper goods are final sale.

🔁 Exchanges & Store Credit

We’re happy to offer exchanges or store credit on eligible items when:
    •    The request is made within 30 days of delivery
    •    The item is in new, unused condition with tags (if applicable)
    •    The item qualifies under its product category

📩 To begin an exchange, email info@shopcasamila.com.
We’ll check item availability and respond within 2–3 business days.

➡️ If your requested item is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.
Once an exchange is initiated, we cannot later issue a refund — store credit becomes the final option.

💳 Store Credit Details:
    •    Issued via email as a Casa Mila gift card
    •    Valid for 2 years
    •    Redeemable online or at pop-ups/local events

➡️ Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

🚫 Final Sale Items
    •    Holiday/seasonal goods after the holiday date
    •    Opened toys, puzzles and games
    •    Opened party supplies
    •    Gift wrap, gift bags, tags, greeting cards
    •    Hair accessories
    •    Personalized or custom-made items
    •    Religious items that are used or blessed
    •    Sale/discounted items

🔒 Our Right to Refuse

Casa Mila reserves the right to:
    •    Deny returns that don’t meet our policies
    •    Refuse service or transactions based on excessive or suspicious return activity
    •    Flag customers who misuse the return process
